Job Description

Supplemental Health Care is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel contract at a partnering hospital in Davenport, Iowa. This role offers professional growth, patient‑care experience, and a chance to work with a leading healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Sterilize radiologic equipment to maintain patient safety.
• Explain scanning procedures to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices.
• Evaluate CT scans to determine technical quality.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred.
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols.

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks (possible extension).
• Shift: 8‑hour days, 40 hours per week.
• Work type: travel contract.
• Pay: $1,960 – $2,126 per week*.
• AM shifts available.

Compensation

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
