• Additional Imaging Support: Basic x-ray exams may also be requiredn

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiology Technologist requiredn
• BLS certification requiredn
• ARRT registration required; CT advanced modality registration preferredn
• State radiology licensure required or preferred depending on state regulationsn
• Experience with EPIC and PACS preferredn
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skillsn
• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced hospital imaging departmentn

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography procedures with accuracy and efficiencyn
• Position and immobilize patients properly to obtain high-quality diagnostic imagesn
• Confirm all patient and procedural information is correct before imagingn
• Administer IV injections and oral, rectal, and IV contrast agents as appropriaten
• Assist radiologists with biopsies, drainage procedures, and other specialty imaging supportn
• Maintain working knowledge of CT systems, including Radiant and PACSn
• Perform timeout procedures and follow safety protocols at all timesn
• Participate in on-call rotation as requiredn
• Support basic x-ray imaging needs when needed within the departmentn
