Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 20‑week assignment in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, starting 06/22/2026. The role involves operating CT scanners to produce cross‑sectional images, preparing patients, ensuring imaging protocols, maintaining equipment, documenting, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ARRT certification
• Other certifications and licenses may be required

Essential Work Functions

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and position patients appropriately
• Set technical parameters for accurate imaging
• Provide high‑quality images to radiologists for interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment
• Document patient information, parameters, and procedural details accurately
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other staff to deliver diagnostic services
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned within scope
