Fusion Medical Staffing‑Radiology is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Cumming, Georgia, starting 07/06/2026. The role involves operating CT scanners to produce high‑quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and compliance with radiation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
  • Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
  • Provide high‑quality images to the radiologist for interpretation.
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
  • Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current ARRT certification.
  • Other certifications and licenses applicable to the position.

Required Essential Skills

  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills.
  • Physical abilities – Remain stationary, move, and manipulate equipment (50‑100lbs), push, pull, and bend.
  • Interpersonal skills – Work effectively with a variety of personnel, maintaining a positive attitude and professionalism.
  • Technical/motor skills – Ability to perform fine manipulation and assist with procedures using department equipment.
  • Mental requirements – Handle frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with occasional supervision or independently, and manage irregular activity schedules.
  • Sensory requirements – Visual acuity and effective communication ability.
