Fusion Medical Staffing—Radiology is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Overland Park, Kansas.

Required Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid radiology license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
Essential Work Functions
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain imaging process, and position patients appropriately
- Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
- Provide high‑quality images to radiologist for interpretation
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT tech practice
Required Essential Skills
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
- Physical abilities: remain stationary, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, bend
- Interpersonal skills: work effectively with a variety of personnel, present a positive attitude and professionalism
- Technical/motor skills: handle fine manipulation, push/pull, and move around when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
- Mental requirements: cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, manage irregular activity schedules, maintain continuous concentration to detail
- Sensory: possess visual acuity and effective communication skills
