Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist or Radiology Technologistn
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Associationn
• ARRT registration requiredn
• CT advanced modality registration preferred, or ability to obtain within 2 yearsn
• State licensure preferred, if required for the assignment locationn
• Associate’s degree from an ARRT-accredited program preferredn
• Experience with EPIC and PACS preferredn
• Strong communication, attention to detail, critical thinking, and patient-focused caren

Responsibilities

• Perform computed tomography procedures accurately and efficientlyn
• Position and immobilize patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic imagesn
• Verify all patient and procedural information before scanningn
• Administer oral, rectal, and IV contrast agents as directedn
• Perform IV injections and maintain safe contrast and radiation practicesn
• Assist radiologists with biopsies, drainage procedures, and other interventionsn
• Use Radiant, PACS, and other CT imaging systems with confidencen
• Follow timeout, safety, and infection control procedures at all timesn
• Support a wide range of patient populations, from pediatrics to geriatricsn
• Contribute to a collaborative hospital imaging team and remain flexible to changing prioritiesn
