Job Summary:
To provide diagnostic Computed Tomography Services to inpatients, outpatients, and Emergency Department patients under the direction of the supervising radiologist in accordance with established operating procedures and clinical protocols. The role involves delivering safe, prompt, efficient, and cost-effective CT Services.
Required Qualifications:
- Certificate of Completion from Radiologic Technology Program OR College Diploma in Related Field.
- Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography - Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
- BLS (American Heart Association).
- Registered in Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT) OR Registered in Computed Tomography (CT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Preferred Qualifications:
- None specified.
Additional Information:
- Maintain license and continuing education.
- Ensure proper patient screening before administering contrast media injections.
- Consult with providers as needed to ensure proper exams are administered.
