Fills out housing form once accepted for the role.Additional Details about the positionPatient Identification & Assessment: Utilizing two patient identifiers, verifying orders, and checking for pregnancy or contraindications to iodinated contrast.Patient Education: Explaining the CT procedure, including potential sensations from contrast dye, to reduce anxiety.Patient Monitoring: Monitoring patients during scanning for allergic reactions to contrast agents or physical discomfort, particularly in trauma cases.Daily Maintenance: Performing regular warm-up sequences and calibrations on the CT scanner to ensure optimal performance.Documentation: Accurately documenting procedure details, contrast usage, and patient data in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).Beds: 73 inpatient bedsTrauma Level 3Scans for primarily Inpatient & EDNo perfusionsExperience RequirementsMust have successfully completed training in the radiology field (CT and X-Ray) and have at least 1 year experience in CT and 2 years' experience in X-Ray.Must have expertise to operate teleradiology and fax equipmentCertification RequirementsARRT (RT) (CT)BLS (AHA ONLY)Licensure RequirementMust possess a current valid Arizona State License in Radiology (R)About the FacilityThis facility is a 73-bed regional referral medical center in Tuba City, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation.
