Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist with at least 6 months of recent CT experience for a night shift assignment in a hospital CT Scan department.

Details

• Work in a hospital CT Scan department
• Night shift schedule Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week assignment
• Unit staffing typically includes 4 techs plus a supervisor daily, with reduced weekend staffing of 3 day techs and 1 night tech
• Night shift coverage includes a cross-trained tech who moves between X-ray and CT
• Equipment includes two in-house scanners (128 and 16 slice) and one mobile 64-slice unit
• EMR system is Meditech
• Typical procedures include CTA, abdomen/pelvis, and chest/abdomen/pelvis scans

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of current CT Technologist experience required
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Night shift experience with Trauma I or Trauma II level facilities preferred
• Experience with GE equipment, Meditech, and Centricity PACS preferred

Additional Information

• Perform a variety of CT procedures including CTA and abdomen/pelvis imaging as part of a collaborative care team
• Ideal candidates are self-starters with strong critical thinking skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered for this travel assignment
