Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a free-standing ED imaging setting requiring ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certification.

Details

• Work in the Riverside Imaging department of a free-standing emergency department (FSED) within a 465-bed hospital
• 13-week contract assignment
• Friday through Sunday and every other Thursday, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift
• Rotating call required
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment
• EMR/PACS system is Meditech/Fuji PACS
• Mixed patient population across day and night shifts

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in CT
• CT and Radiology licenses required if applicable
• Hospital experience preferred
• Procedural experience preferred
• Experience with bone marrow biopsy, cryoablation, microwave ablation, CTA coronary/pulmonary, liver biopsy, general ortho, body, and neuro scans preferred
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform a variety of CT procedures including bone marrow biopsies, cryoablations, microwave ablations, CTA coronary/pulmonary studies, and liver biopsies
• Also perform general orthopedic, body, and neuro CT scans
• Ideal candidates are collaborative team players with a flexible approach
• Dress code includes olive green scrub top and black scrub pants
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
