Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment requiring CT licensure and BLS certification.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Scanner department serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
- 3x12-hour evening/night shifts, Friday through Sunday, 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Graduate of an accredited AMA radiography program
- ARRT registration required
- State licensure as a general radiographer
- CT license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
- Experience with biopsy/drainage procedures under CT guidance
- Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, contrast media studies, and cross-sectional anatomy
Additional Information
- Provide timely diagnostic imaging services under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
- Perform CT scanning procedures with and without contrast media
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- RTO requests must be less than one week
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at this healthcare system within the past 2 years will not be considered
