Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
- Assist with biopsy and drainage procedures under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols
- Administer studies with and without contrast media, applying knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
- Demonstrate proficiency in CT system processing and surgical/sterile procedures
- Provide timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Active state license as a general radiographer with CT certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel assignment experience in a hospital or acute care setting
- Familiarity with a high-volume radiology department environment
