Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist to assist with pediatric and adult congenital cardiac catheterization, EP studies, and RF ablation procedures, requiring ARRT registry and 2+ years of experience.
Details
- Pediatric cardiac catheterization lab within a children's hospital setting
- Patient population includes newborns, children, and adults with congenital heart disease
- Day shift schedule, 4x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- EPIC charting experience preferred but not required
- All travelers will float to competent units
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program required
- ARRT Radiography registry required, current OH license required at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS certification required or must be obtained within one year of hire
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required, 3 years preferred
- BSN required for consideration as this is a Magnet facility
- Experience with pediatric/adult congenital cardiac procedures preferred
- Experience with sterile technique preferred
- Prior healthcare experience required
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software required
Additional Information
- Scrub into procedures as a sterile scrub assistant and manage x-ray equipment
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and EP ablation procedures
- Monitor invasive cardiac waveforms and pressure gradients, and communicate patient vital signs and EKG data during procedures
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining par levels and general equipment troubleshooting
- Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
- No radius rule applies for this position
- Facility will consider qualified first-time travelers
- Facility will consider prior employees returning as travelers as long as they are not currently active employees
- Facility has a strict do-not-call policy
