Now Hiring: Caregiver to Accompany Individual on Trip to Buffalo, New York!
A unique opportunity awaits you! We are currently seeking a patient, dependable, and trustworthy individual to accompany a man with special needs on a trip to visit his family for an extended weekend from Madison, WI to Buffalo, NY. This trip has not been booked yet as we are looking for the right person to tag along! This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with travel, is skilled in caregiving, and loves adventure. This opportunity has the ability to become a permanent position for the individual while he is home.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule
Member is authorized for 13 hours of care each day of the trip
Hours may vary each day depending on member’s needs/schedule
Responsibilities
Provide needed assistance throughout the trip
Assist with transfers
Meal prep/Set up
Support with dressing and toileting as needed
Assist with medications/reminders when required
Outings
Ensure safety, comfort, and companionship throughout the trip
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license preferred
Prior experience with skilled caregiving required
Must be 18 years or older
Ability to pass a criminal background check
