Travel Cardiac Cath RN - $3,390 per week

PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Bloomington, Illinois.

Join our dynamic Cath Lab team as a Registered Nurse, providing care in a high-acuity setting with a focus on cardiac and peripheral angiography procedures. Ideal candidates will be experienced in admitting, prepping, and recovering procedural cases, knowledgeable in IV medications, and skilled in reading tele strips and titrating drips.

• Care Setting: Acute
• Shift: 12-hour shifts with potential for extended hours
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3390 (negotiable)
• Charting System: EPIC
• 6 Pre/Post beds with 4-6 cases on average per day
• Unit/Department Specific Orientation: Approximately 1 week (4 shifts)

• Admit, prep, and recover procedural cases from Cath, IR, and EP
• Monitor and interpret tele strips
• Titrate drips and administer IV medications
• Perform tasks related to STEMI, stroke, and other cardiac procedures

Required:

• Active IL license or confirmation of application initiation
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Ability to read tele strips and titrate drips
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Epic
• Must be able to admit, prep, and recover procedural cases
• Understanding of Drug-Free Campus requirements

Preferred:

• Experience with peripheral angio cases, IR, and neuro intervention

PEL/VIP Job ID . Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
