Job Summary:
The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist II position is located in Boston. This role involves working as a vital member of the patient care team within the catheterization laboratory, collaborating closely with colleagues to ensure continuity of care. The technologist promotes patient and family-focused service, emphasizing understanding and meeting customer needs.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Day shifts with 10-hour shifts and a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid ARRT certification with Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential; minimum of 2 years' experience as a radiologic technologist; 1+ years traveler experience; location in Massachusetts; no experience minimum specified.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing hemodynamics measurements on Siemens Sensis system; familiarity with Epic electronic charting system; prior experience in a high-volume cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Additional Information: This role may involve night, weekend, and holiday call during the contract period, with some nights and possibly one weekend expected, though no weekend or holiday shifts are guaranteed. The laboratory features seven procedure rooms and a hybrid operating room, with an upgraded facility within the past five years, and handles over 30 cases daily ranging from outpatient right heart catheterizations to complex coronary and vascular interventions.
