Job Summary
Sierra Vista, Arizona This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) and Scrub Technician (RRT or RCIS) in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CATH LAB) within the healthcare organization. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in a high‑acuity setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Valid RN license, RRT or RCIS certification (if applicable), minimum of 2 years of experience, and Arizona state licensure.
- Schedule: Days shift, 10‑hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures, including vascular embolization, ports, vascular stenting, nephrostomy tubes, and familiarity with electronic health records using CERNER.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with manifold, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR), intravascular lithotripsy (IVL), Impella, intra‑aortic balloon pump (IABP), and pre/post procedure care.
- Float: IR float required.
- Additional Information: The cardiac staff covers the cath lab, stress testing, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), and tilt table testing. The unit has 90 beds, with equipment including GE fluoroscopy systems, transitioning to advanced hemodynamic systems.
