The role involves performing cardiac catheterization procedures, monitoring cases, and circulating patients within a busy clinical environment. The selected candidate will work primarily day shifts with mandated call responsibilities.

Job Details

• Position: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) Technician
• Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Location: Bryan or College Station, Texas (home base)
• Certifications & Education: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS; minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Schedule: 8-hour days, with shift starting at approximately 0600/0630, including call requirements of roughly 10-11 days per month, including one weekend.
• Additional Responsibilities: Circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing cases involving cardiology, neuro, peripheral, and traumatic embolization procedures.
• Clinical Requirements: Ability to circulate cases, monitor with GE MacLab/Combo Lab Hemodynamic Monitoring System, and scrub cases with RCIS or RT tech support.
• Orientation: Three days of orientation, with competency expected by Thursday or Friday.
• Charting System: MEDITECH.
• Note: Candidates must not have been directly employed either full-time, part-time, or PRN by facilities associated with the organization within the past year, although PRN employment through outside firms will be considered.
