General Information – Procedure Suite

• Number of Hospital Beds: 2 Cath Lab Suites
• Patient Ratios: Cath Lab is a 4 person team/1 patient
• Unit Staffing: Cath Lab Scrub Techs per case; unit secretaries and tech availability available
• Equipment: GE, IVUS, VOLCANO Cath Lab equipment
• Documentation System: Merge-Cath Lab Application and Meditech
• Scheduling: Call Required – 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days per week
• Floating policy: Cath Lab, OP Stress Test
• Hours per week: 40/week

Hospital Specifics

• Certifications: Kentucky Radiology Technician licensure required

Hiring Profile – Requested Skill Set

• Must Have: BLS, ACLS for Cath Lab RNs and Techs
• Techs: Valid ARRT and RCIS certification for Kentucky; all techs must have Cath Lab specific experience
• Advanced Skills Needed: Minimum 2 years of similar Cath Lab procedures and 1 year of Cath Lab travel experience for all RNs and Techs
• Procedures performed on unit: Left Heart Cath, Right Heart Cath, TEE, Cardioversion, Pacer Implants, Defibrillator Implants, TILT, Stress Tests
• Certifications Required for Techs: RCIS and ARRT
• Dress Code: Solid color scrubs
