American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Ocala, FL. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience and an active RCIS certification.
Assignment Overview
- Shift: Days, 3×12 hrs
- Hours: 36 hrs per week
- Start Date: May 11, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Openings: 1
- Schedule: Four 10‑hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with rotating weekday call and possible STEMI coverage float
Details
- Location: Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 labs
- Patient ratio: 3:1
- Procedures: right and left heart catheterization (diagnostic and interventional), peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Equipment: GE lab, Impella, balloon pump, Penumbra, IVUS
- Documentation system: Merge Hemo
Requirements
- Active FL or Compact RN license required
- Certifications: RCIS, ACLS and BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within 30 days of assignment start)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience
- EP experience is a plus
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Two professional references required for Florida placements
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Scrubs: facility‑provided or OR scrubs
- EP experience is considered an advanced skill and preferred
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
Compensation
Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hrs per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
