Travel Advisor

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Entry-Level Travel Advisor to assist clients with planning and arranging memorable vacations and travel experiences. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys travel, working with people, researching destinations, and providing thoughtful customer service.

The Travel Advisor will communicate with clients to understand their travel preferences, research suitable destinations and travel options, assist with reservations, and help ensure details are organized from the initial planning stages through the client’s trip.

Key Responsibilities
• Consult with clients to understand their vacation preferences, needs, and travel plans.
• Research destinations, accommodations, cruises, transportation, activities, and vacation packages.
• Prepare travel options and recommendations based on client preferences and budgets.
• Assist with booking and coordinating travel arrangements.
• Communicate professionally with clients and travel suppliers.
• Maintain accurate client and reservation information.
• Follow up with clients regarding travel details, changes, and questions.
• Stay informed about destinations, travel products, and supplier offerings.
• Provide responsive and courteous customer service throughout the planning process.
• Maintain organized records and complete administrative tasks related to reservations.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to research information and compare travel options.
• Basic computer skills are required, including the ability to use email, internet browsers, online booking systems, and standard office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple client requests and deadlines.
• Professional, dependable, and self-motivated approach to work.
• Previous travel-industry experience is helpful but not required.
