American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring at least 1 year of acute care PT experience and BLS certification. Details
Inpatient/Acute Care PT setting Day shift options of 5x8 or 4x10 hours with a flexible start time between Every other weekend coverage is negotiated Epic EMR experience required Requirements
Minimum 1 year of acute care physical therapy experience required Current BLS certification required Epic charting system experience required Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Trauma Level II experience preferred License required if applicable Additional Information
Responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation across the care continuum Skilled in use of adaptive and assistive devices such as gait belts, walkers, sliding boards, and lifts Experience with cardiopulmonary conditions such as COPD, CHF, CABG, and MI Works with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, neurology, oncology, and orthopedics Provides home exercise programs and patient/family education Open to first-time travelers Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate Previous employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Orientation includes up to 4 hours of non-billable training modules completed through MyPath
