American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting, requiring 1+ year of experience and current BLS and state licensure. Details
Acute care hospital setting with potential rehabilitation hospital exposure Patient population includes geriatric, neurology, and orthopedic cases Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (5x8 hours) Includes 1 weekend per month No on-call requirements Floating required within facility scope of practice (acute care) and to an additional nearby hospital as needed Uses Epic for charting and documentation Requirements
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required Current BLS certification required State license required if applicable, must be active and in hand at time of submission Experience with documentation, assessment, evaluation, discharge planning, and care planning required Skilled in setting short-term and long-term patient goals Strong time management skills required Experience in acute care and/or rehabilitation hospital settings preferred Additional Information
Core responsibilities include patient assessment, evaluation, discharge planning, and ongoing reassessments Develops and manages short-term and long-term care goals as part of the treatment plan First-time travelers are welcome to apply for this position Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract Holiday coverage is required based on how many major holidays fall within the assignment period If 1-2 major holidays occur during the assignment, no holiday RTO can be requested If 3 major holidays occur during the assignment, one holiday RTO request may be considered Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate Full compliance required prior to start date to avoid scheduling delays
