Trauma Surgeon

Sanford Clinic Surgical Associates is seeking a Fellowship Trained BC/BE Surgical Critical Care Surgeon to join its experienced team in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The incoming physician will provide vital care within a Level I Verified Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, covering both the Surgical Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery/Trauma Surgery services. This opportunity allows providers to work alongside and teach surgical residents and advanced practice clinicians in a collaborative environment.

Practice Info

• Sanford Clinic Surgical Associates (SCSA) has the largest and most experienced group of general surgeons in South Dakota
• SICU located within Sanford USD Medical Center
• Surgical Center Clinic attached to hospital
• Level I Verified Adult & Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• Work with and teach Surgical Residents/Advanced Practice Clinicians (Clinical Nurse Specialists, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners)

Responsibilities

• Cover Surgical Critical Care Service and Acute Care Surgery/Trauma Surgery Service

Requirements

• Fellowship Trained BC/BE Surgical Critical Care Surgeon
• Experienced candidates preferred but new graduates will also be considered
• Must be Board Eligible/Board Certified
• Must be Fellowship Trained in Surgical Critical Care
