Trauma Surgeon

Northwell Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Acute Care Surgeon with fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care/Trauma Surgery to join the Division of Acute Care Surgery at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, New York. This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving Level I Trauma Center and growing academic surgery program. The successful candidate will become part of a highly collaborative team committed to excellence in trauma care, emergency general surgery, surgical critical care, education, and research.

Practice Info

• ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center
• Dedicated APP support model
• Approximately 800 trauma and surgical admissions annually
• Rotation through Trauma, Acute Care Surgery, and Surgical ICU services
• Join an established team of Acute Care Surgeons
• South Shore University Hospital is a 341-bed tertiary care hospital and regional destination for advanced medical and surgical services

Responsibilities

• Active involvement in one of Northwell's newest General Surgery Residency programs
• Opportunity to contribute to continued growth and program development

Compensation

• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000
