Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Abstract and validate trauma patient data to ensure compliance with registry standards, support ACS survey readiness, and maintain accurate reporting for trauma program leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review trauma patient records and apply NTDS, state, and hospital inclusion criteria.
- Abstract, validate, and input required clinical data elements into the trauma registry.
- Support ACS site survey readiness and ensure compliance with registry standards.
- Assist the Trauma Program Director with data reporting, audits, and quality processes.
- CSTR or CAISS certification required.
- Proven experience with trauma registry data abstraction, validation, and NTDS criteria.
- strong knowledge of ACS trauma center registry requirements and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with high attention to detail.
- Preferred: Level I, II, or III trauma center registry experience.
