Transportation Project ManagerAECOM is seeking a Transportation Project Manager to be based in Tucson, AZ.Job Description SummaryDirects and managers the entire project, provides guidance to task leads and entire project team, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating technical assignments.Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to budget and schedule through contract closeout.Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.Job DescriptionThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Work with the local management to develop and execute project pursuits and deliveryFormulate and execute project opportunity capture strategies, including teaming and positioning for strategic pursuits and identification of required staff resources to win and effectively deliver projectsEstablish relationships with both external and internal clientsManage and mentor staff to enable seamless design and plan developmentBe a visible leader and trusted advisor to clients by promoting AECOM's values both internally and externallyMust possess excellent analytical, technical skills and communication (oral and written) skillsProven track record with client account management, project pursuit execution, and engineering staff developmentMinimum RequirementsBA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationArizona PE requiredPreferred Qualifications15 + years of progressive experience designing and delivering projectsClient relationships and business development experienceExperience as project manager on transportation projects with cities and counties within AZAdditional InformationThis position does not include sponsorship for US work authorizationAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
