Job TitleTransportation Project ManagerJob DescriptionExpanding Midwest firm is looking to fill a critical role for a Transportation Project Manager in their Chicago suburb office!
Responsibilities include leading/coordinating internal teams, subconsultants, and external stakeholders on a variety of public sector projects. Deliver projects for Illinois Transportation agencies including Counties, IDOT, and the Illinois Tollway. Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables. Prepare technical reports, plans, designs, cost estimates, and calculations. Oversee QA/QC processes and ensure deliverable quality. Support proposals, interviews, and business development efforts. Mentor/train junior staff. Serve as primary client contact. Occasional travel to project sites required.Requirements: B.S. degree in civil engineering, 5+ years of experience in transportation planning and/or design, PE License in Illinois, proficient in MicroStation, OpenRoads, and/or other transportation design tools.
