Enjoy rewarding project challenges and an opportunity to become an important part of a well-established technical group.Minimum Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. • Minimum of 5 years of practical design experience in transportation engineering, highway design, and local street design. • Proficiency with MicroStation/OpenRoads required. Modeling with OpenRoads is desired.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D software is a plus. • Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, municipal and IL Tollway design and standards. • Good communication skills and interaction with clients and internal team members is necessary. • PE license in IL.Responsibilities Include• Hands-on involvement in the design process and project advancement including setting priorities and developing objectives. • Design opportunities will generally include: • Highway and Roadway Plans, Specifications and Estimates • Sewer Plans, Specifications and Estimates • Project Permitting • Project Reports • Mentor Junior Engineers • Professional society involvement. • The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.Pay Range and Compensation PackageBenefit package- Full package that includes lots of PTO as well as medical, dental and vision!
