Education/Certification
- Valid Texas Commercial Drivers License (Must have CDL or be able to obtain CDL)
- At Least a High School Diploma or GED
- Possess mechanical aptitude to effectively inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical defects in vehicles and other power equipment
- Possess ability to perform minor body repairs
Three years mechanic experience preferred
Physical Demands/Environmental Factors
- Continual walking and standing; frequent heavy lifting and carrying; climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to operate power and hand tools
- Work outside and inside
- Exposed to extreme temperatures, dust, fumes, and odors
- Exposed to mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards
- Work around moving objects and vehicles
