A law firm seeks a Transportation Litigation Associate in San Francisco. This role offers remote work flexibility, allowing for a portion of the workweek to be conducted remotely. The successful candidate will engage in a variety of transportation, automobile, and trucking cases, collaborating closely with senior associates and partners.
Duties
- Independently manage cases through all litigation stages from inception to trial.
- Attend court hearings, manage discovery, and take and defend depositions.
- Proactively manage client communications throughout litigation.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to clients and compliance with case management requirements.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree is required.
- Must be licensed to practice in the State of California.
- 1+ years of transportation litigation experience preferred.
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience handling discovery for complex matters with substantial knowledge of evidentiary objections.
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills.
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in California.
