B&N Transportation Engineer, Entry Level Responsibilities:
- Participate in delivering professional transportation design services to a wide variety of clients throughout Indiana
- Collaborate with Professional Engineers and design staff on solving complex engineering problems
- Develop roadway design layouts, models, plan sheets, cost estimates, and exhibits
- Provide support in roadway drainage design
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines as needed to deliver projects
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited program in Civil Engineering
- Engineer Intern registration or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Strong interest in transportation engineering and motivated to improve the efficiency and safety of transportation systems
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate
- Proficiency with Bentley Products (MicroStation, Open Roads) preferred or ability to become proficient with software within 6 months.
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
