Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Transplant Surgeon to join their Transplant Surgery department in Fargo, North Dakota. Responsibilities
- Performs transplant surgery
- Performs laparoscopic living donor nephrectomy
- Performs inpatient & ambulatory patient management
- Performs inpatient transplant consultations

Requirements
- Completion of an ASTS-certified transplant surgery training program
- UNOS certification
- Ability to obtain ND license required
- Strong clinical expertise in kidney transplantation, minimal invasive living donor nephrectomies, as well as surgical vascular access creation and PD catheter placement
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of a fellowship in Transplant Surgery
- Must hold an active medical license for each state in which the physician practices - either physically or virtually
- Must have a DEA for each state in which the physician physically practices
- Board Certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada)
- If physician is not board certified upon commencement of employment, they must achieve board certification as outlined in the privileging documents
