Transplant Hepatologist - Manhasset, NY

We are actively seeking a full‑time academic Transplant Hepatologist to join our Division of Hepatology and the Northwell Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation. This critical role involves overseeing the medical care of patients with liver diseases, including those in need of liver transplantation. The position is open to candidates at the assistant, associate, and professor of medicine levels, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat liver conditions.
• Assess eligibility for liver transplantation.
• Oversee both pre‑ and post‑transplant care.
• Educate medical students, residents, and GI and Transplant Hepatology fellows.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or certified in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology.
• Proven expertise in General and Transplant Hepatology as well as endoscopy.
• Excellence in clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork and patient care.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New York State.
• Experience in academic research and teaching highly valued and will be considered a significant advantage.
