Job Title
Pay Range: $82.98hr - $87.98hr
Requirement/Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited US curriculum or equivalent from outside the US.
- 3+ years of cumulative experience in engineering and design.
- Ability to travel to and from project-related functions approximately 20% of the time.
- Strong familiarity with GO 95, NESC, and industry transmission line standards and construction practices.
- Strong familiarity with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and related software.
- Skills in project management.
Responsibilities
- Resolve problems of moderate scope using standard solutions.
- Independently plan work under general direction with periodic reviews for technical accuracy.
- Perform functions of Associate level Engineer as needed.
- Provide technical expertise, conduct engineering analyses, studies, and develop conceptual designs.
- Present findings to internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Conduct walkdowns and design review meetings.
- Prepare technical documents including design criteria, scope documents, specifications, and reports.
- Develop, evaluate, and recommend alternative project proposals.
- Solicit, prepare, and evaluate contracts and proposals from engineering consultants.
- Review consultant contracts for technical compliance.
- Interpret and apply applicable codes and regulations.
- Participate in developing restoration plans and assist in root cause analysis.
- Approve reports, new drawings, and revisions to existing drawings.
- Respond promptly to facility failures in emergencies.
- Represent the organization to government bodies for assigned projects.
