Transmission Line Engineer

Job Description
Growing full service firm looking to add a talented Transmission Line QA/QC Engineer to their Indianapolis office!
Responsibilities:

• Overseedesign reviews/validation procedures
• Ensureaccuracy and safety of the design of high voltage transmission lines usingPLS-CADD
• Establishquality standards aligned with industry best practices
• Develop/implementquality control procedures
• Mentor/trainjunior staff with varying levels of experience
• ChampionQA/QC processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality engineeringoutputs
• Communicatewith project managers to align quality goals with schedule/budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering or engineering technology
• 5+years of transmission engineering experience
• LicensedProfessional Engineer (PE)
• Proficientin PLS CADD
• Expertin the analysis of transmission structures
• Abilityto comprehend and interpret safety codes, utility standards andregulations
• Abilityto optimize complex systems and workflows
• Abilityto translate technical concepts for diverse audiences and drivecross-functional collaboration
• ValidDriver's License is required

Salary is commensurate with experience.
