Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, experience working with adolescents in school preferred
Familiar with special education supports, understanding of NJ code for transition planning
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and work with various stakeholders
Understanding of life skills, social skills, and writing transition plans for students
Extra duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education or Supervisor of Special Education

All alternate route candidates ("Certificate of Eligibility) must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position.
