Due to the nature of the position, weekend and evening scheduling and some additional duties may be required.This position reports to the Manager of TGNCI Programs. This position operates under grant funding through the Department of Disability and Aging Services of San Francisco and must comply with all applicable funding and regulatory requirements. Program Support, Facilitation, and Event Logistics: Support and co-facilitate TGI-specific groups, community-building programs, outings, celebration events, advisory board activities, and weekly/monthly program logistics, including setup and breakdown of spaces and equipment.2. Community Member Outreach, Engagement, and Supportive Referrals: Conduct wellness calls, engage TGNCI older adults in Openhouse programs, provide short-term emotional/social/practical support, make warm handoffs, and connect participants to internal and external resources.3. Community Outreach and Partnership Support: Promote Openhouse TGI programs across community organizations, fairs, service providers, and partner programs; support relationships with external partners and referral networks.4. Administrative Documentation, Data Entry, and Program Evaluation: Complete participant registration, enter data into Neon One/GetCare, assist with surveys and evaluations, track program participation, and support reporting needs.Minimum Qualifications:· Experience working with older LGBTQ I A++ adults or equivalent experience working with other populations with unique socialization and service needs including but not limited to dementia and Alzheimer's disease, behavioral health, caregiver wellness, traumatic brain injury, etc.· Sensitivity to and knowledge of the unique life experiences, challenges, and strengths of the communities supported by Openhouse's mission.· Experience facilitating groups (preferably older adults and/or TGI population) in settings such as community centers demonstrating ability to manage group energy, respond to changing needs and support participants with empathy· Ability to work with minimal supervision.· Minimum of 2 years of experience with administrative responsibilities.· Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn software programs, online databases and tools.· Good critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.· Proficiency (intermediate) in Spanish is required and Fluency in English.Preferred Qualifications:· Familiarity with de-escalation techniques and conflict–resolution strategies to resolve issues while maintaining the dignity of all involved.· Community development/organizing skills are highly valued.· Experience working with Transgender, Gender non-conforming and Intersex older adults and adults with disabilities is highly valued.· Knowledge of San Francisco's aging and disability resources preferred.· Knowledge of and familiarity with client assessment, documentation and databases, and information and referrals appreciated.Compensation & Benefits: Starting range: $28.00-$31.00 per hour (Pay band: $23.80- $34.00/hr), commensurate with experience.Openhouse offers a collaborative and supportive work environment and competitive benefits, including:· Health insurance (full-time employees)· Dental, vision, and long-term disability insurance (full & part-time employees)· 18 paid holidays· 18 days paid vacation annually (prorated for part-time employees)· 12 Sick days annually· 1 paid wellness day per month· 401(k) with limited employer match (after one year)· Employee Assistance Program (EAP)· Commuter benefits· Legal name and gender change benefitPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the California Fair Chance Act, Openhouse will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
