Transactional Paralegal – Commercial Title & SurveyLocation: New York, NY (On-site) Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 (Junior Level) | Up to $120,000 (Senior Level, based on experience)What You'll Do:Review title and survey documents for commercial real estate transactions.Work closely with title companies to clear title issues before closing.Prepare ancillary closing documents, checklists, and binders.Form corporations and LLCs; draft operating agreements under attorney supervision.Obtain EINs and prepare SS-4 forms.Review UCC, litigation, bankruptcy, and lien searches.Prepare purchase agreements, contract assignments, and amendments.Organize closing files and ensure all documents are properly executed.Draft and file Deeds, ACRIS forms, UCC-1s, and UCC-3s.Prepare loan documents, escrow agreements, settlement statements, and satisfactions.Assist attorneys with offering plans for condos and co-ops, including amendments and yearly filings.Attend closings (in-person or escrow closings).What You'll Bring:3+ years of experience as a Transactional Paralegal in real estate.Strong knowledge of commercial title and survey review.Experience with ACRIS, UCC filings, and escrow documentation.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files efficiently.Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and clients.Competitive compensation + excellent benefits package!Learn more & apply today!
