Transaction Coordinator / Inventory - Second or Third Shift

Production CoordinatorAs a Production Coordinator, you will perform a variety of support responsibilities to retain control over finished product inventories. You ensure the supply of raw materials and components to production areas, record the entry of finished products to the corresponding warehouse, and prepare different reports. You help to promote a safe, productive, and 5S dedicated production operation. You will work onsite in Cleveland, OH and report to a Production Superintendent.The shift for this position is either second shift Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm or third shift Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 pm to 6:30 am.Main Responsibilities:Assist Production Supervisors in daily tasks that facilitates the production of batches by resolving and preventing transactional failure modes.Support inventory accuracy goals through proper use of inventory affecting transactions.Use Oracle processes and transactions to accurately facilitate data movement in Inventory Management and Batch Execution.Record problems that operators encounter, prioritize the most important problems, and provide measures to eliminate them.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required, Associate's degree preferred1+ years' experience in operations or lean manufacturingExperience in Microsoft Office and OracleEffective written and oral communications are essential to acquire encouraged results and to improve the team concept of the operationThis role has a salary range $50,000 to $55,000.About us:PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD®Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.The PPG Way 2030We are customer championsProactive.
