Oversee teaching and equipping Team Members to align with the goal of being The Colony’s most caring company.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees all certifications and periodically reevaluates the program for continuous improvement
- Completes orientation with all new hires
- Equips all Team Members to be able to teach new hires
- Ensures everyone stays up to date on certifications
- Keeps Team Members current on Food Handler cards
- Manages any certification‑based pay increases and communicates them with the leader overseeing payroll
- Ensures new Team Members are certified in a timely manner and works with the scheduler to make this happen
- Helps facilitate follow‑up teaching with Team Members struggling in different areas
- Ensures new menu item procedures are communicated and taught to Team Members
- Works with Executive Directors and/or Ops Leads on any leadership‑based certifications for Team Members
- Communicates important information with the rest of the leadership team
Qualifications:
- Previous Chick‑Fil‑A experience is required.
- Consistently demonstrates care for Guest and Team Members
- Has demonstrated good communication and organization skills
- Has excelled as a Team Member and teaching others
- Is well versed in Pathways and Kitchen iQ
- Has less than 10 points infractions per quarter
- Able to meet with Operator once a month
Measurement for Success:
- Team Member certification success
- Timeliness of completing responsibilities
- Feedback from Team Members and Leaders
- Effectiveness of communication with other Operator and other leaders
