Training Development SpecialistConducts refresher training of operatorsTrains employees on the safe operation of all WeGo vehiclesTrains all employees in the classroom as directedConducts sensitivity and customer relations trainingObserves employee's safety habits for minimum risk of accidents and injuriesMaintains training records and conducts driver assessmentsAssists in special events provided by WeGo Public TransitLeads a variety of training formats, including but not limited to classroom discussions, computer-based trainingAssist in the development of the training materialsAssist in determining the effectiveness of training programsProvide Defensive Driving Refresher training to all company employeesConducts Re-training and Administrative Training as necessaryWill Re-train operators as necessary in all aspects of performance including but not limited to Defensive Driving, Sensitivity Training, Customer Relations skills, Fare Box, New Services Routes and Equipment, Human Resources and Onboarding TrainingConducts ride along with new operatorsTrain personnel in all aspects of servicesMaintain updated records of training activities and employee participationEnsure presentations are creative, interactive, and in different multi-mediasCan hold meetings and develop presentations on pertinent learning materials as necessaryPerforms other duties as assignedThe principal duties are intended to describe those functions that are essential to the performance of this job and must be performed unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation.
