Training & Content DeveloperThe Training & Content Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining training materials and digital learning content for the USDA National Organic Program. This role supports the Organic Integrity Learning Center (OILC) by creating engaging, accessible, and compliant training modules and educational resources.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop online training modules for OILCCreate: instructional content, lesson materials, quizzes and assessmentsEnsure all training aligns with program objectives and regulatory requirementsUpdate and maintain existing training modulesDevelop written and visual content including graphics, videos, instructional textEnsure consistency with USDA branding and messagingDevelop and edit content using HTML and CSS, Learning Management Systems (LMS)Troubleshoot and maintain training module functionalityEnsure all materials meet Section 508 accessibility requirementsApply federal style and usability standardsSupport testing and validation of training contentWork with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather requirementsSupport rollout of training and educational initiativesAssist in development of supporting materials such as FAQs and job aidsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Communications, Education, or related field3–6 years of experience in:Training developmenteLearning content creationExperience with:LMS platformsHTML/CSSKnowledge of accessibility standards (Section 508)
