Baseops Technical Training Team MemberWe are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to become a vital member of our dynamic BaseOPS technical training team. This role demands expertise in ICE / Electric Vehicles (EVs) and their intricate electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at delivering top-tier vehicle technician training to a diverse audience, including skilled technicians, maintenance personnel, and other internal stakeholders across various teams and locations.Required Skills & QualificationsASE Certifications PreferredPossess or willing to possess AC609 CertificationPossess and maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordPass a background check, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check, and drug screenMust comply with the Substance Abuse Policy2-5 Years of Automotive/AV experience preferredSolid understanding of mechanical and electrical fundamental systems, schematics, and service best practicesExtensive knowledge of electric vehicle systems, including DC and AC electrical systems, battery management systems, inverters, charging systems, and troubleshooting techniquesExceptional verbal and written communication skillsFoundational instructional design experienceAbility to interact professionally with a broad spectrum of teamsCommitment to staying current with industry trends, certifications, codes, and best practicesMaintain accurate records of training completion, evaluations, and participant feedbackProficiency with Google SuiteFamiliarity with LMS platforms, JIRA, SAP, DMS, etc.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesResearch, analyze and identify specific training needs to support team objectivesSelect appropriate delivery methodology, develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and student handoutsDevelop and administer an ongoing training programWork closely with internal & external teams to define requirements for all training typesEnsure all training sessions strictly comply with safety standards, local regulations, and environmental guidelinesSchedule & conduct both classroom and on-the-job instruction and track and report completion to metricsDevelop evaluations that assess the effectiveness of trainingRequired to manually drive company vehicles for limited distances on an as-needed basis
