They are expected to teach new hires how to effectively execute the role of team member.What you get to do:Ensure new team members are given a firm foundationHolding new team members accountable for completing the assigned trainingsCommunicate clearly to new hires about expectations and standardsMust be able to consistently model behaviors expected of a Food & Beverage team memberMust be able to understand food sanitation, cleanliness standards, federal, state and local health requirements and consistently follow all company and departmental policiesMust be able to conduct Facility Culinary Foundations Training for new team members within assigned facility, including conducting facility tours and all safety related trainingMust be able to demonstrate knowledge of and train "On the Job Trainer" station toolsMust be able to monitor the progress of new team members, conduct a 14 days safety check and re-direct behavior if neededMust be able to communicate effectively with team members and members of park leadershipMust be able to perform other miscellaneous duties as requiredWhat it takes to succeed:Must have minimum of 6 months experience in Food & BeverageMust be a current part time or full-time ambassadorMust have strong written and verbal communications skillsMust be able to communicate effectively with ambassadors, guests and leadershipMust have strong guest service skills and a desire to assist othersMust be able to multi-taskMust have high school diploma or equivalentMust have Safe Staff certificationMust have completed RCS Responsible Vendor Training (alcohol) trainingMust remain compliant with all training offered by the Food & Beverage DepartmentMust be comfortable and able to work with all food types, including food allergens in any dining facilityMust be able to successfully complete Facility Trainer auditionMust be comfortable to working around fumes/dust/odorMust be able to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsMust be able to work with and around chemicalsThe perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveawaysEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
