About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated Traffic Engineer to join our team on a fully remote basis. In this role, you’ll contribute to various aspects of traffic engineering, including transportation planning, traffic studies, and road safety assessments. As a part of our collaborative team, you'll handle traffic operations and analysis to develop solutions that promote efficiency and safety in transportation systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough traffic analysis and transportation planning to support projects
- Lead traffic studies, traffic impact assessments, and road safety evaluations
- Apply your expertise to improve traffic operations and identify solutions for transportation challenges
- Utilize traffic engineering software to analyze data and generate reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client needs
- Ensure high standards in technical reports and presentations
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in traffic analysis, operations, and transportation planning
- Experience conducting traffic studies and impact assessments
- Strong knowledge of road safety principles
- Proficiency in traffic engineering software (e.g., Synchro, HCS, VISSIM)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment
