We're seeking a Traffic Engineer- Project Manager with a minimum of 12 years of experience in transportation engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management to join our growing traffic team in New York City. We're a close-knit team of about 50 professionals, known for our collaborative spirit and strong relationships—both internally and with our clients.

This position may be located in any of Stantec's offices across the United States.Your OpportunityAs a key member of our team, you'll lead and support a variety of transportation projects that make a real impact:Lead transportation planning studies, traffic impact analyses, and safety assessmentsContribute to Environmental Impact Assessments and Planning and Environmental Linkages studiesDesign and oversee traffic data collection and analysisCollaborate with roadway and structural engineers on iterative design processesEnsure quality and consistency through QA/QC reviewsManage project budgets and client communicationsPresent technical concepts at public meetings and support stakeholder engagementCoordinate modeling efforts and integrate results into planning recommendationsPrepare technical reports, memoranda, and presentationsSupport business development through proposal writing and interviewsAbout YouYou're passionate about creating safe, efficient, and equitable transportation systems.
