Selby Jennings is partnered with a technology-driven trading firm looking for a Senior Front Office Business Analyst to support its Equity Options business. This is a highly visible role sitting at the intersection of trading, technology, and risk, working directly with traders and engineering teams on business-critical initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Equity Options traders to understand workflows, challenges, and new trading initiatives
- Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and project plans
- Work closely with software engineers, trading technology teams, and risk stakeholders
- Drive projects from initial discussions through implementation and post-launch review
- Coordinate priorities, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
- Help improve trading workflows, operational processes, and technology platforms
What We\'re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in a trading firm, hedge fund, market maker, broker-dealer, exchange, or investment bank
- Strong knowledge of Equity Options, Futures, Derivatives, or Electronic Trading
- Experience working directly with traders, risk teams, or trading technology groups
- Ability to gather requirements and manage projects across technical and business stakeholders
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
