Your role is a crucial part of the Wholesale Loan Middle Office, a division of Wholesale Lending Services, which primarily supports the North America Credit Trading, and Syndicated Leverage Finance businesses within the Corporate and Investment Bank.Job responsibilitiesWorking with the trading desk, clients, counsel and operations to settle complex secondary loan trades; Inventory tracking, Participation Drafting, PIK Events, ETC…Drafting, reviewing and understanding both Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA) Standard and other legal documents including Trade Confirms, Assignment Agreements, Purchase and Sale Agreements & LSTA Standard ParticipationsCompleting two-touch review and signing of documentation completed by other closersReviewing and coordinating with internal and external counsel on proposed changes to legal documentsReviewing and understanding Credit Agreements and other relevant trade documentationManaging a heavy trade portfolio across all various lines of business while maintain a clean aging profileIdentifying and escalating issues to the Trading Assistants & traders, in-house legal counsel and management, when necessary (Focus on key economic, language and fee-related disputes)Working directly with counterparts and internal partners in issue resolutionMonitoring/tracking/reporting of all escalated issues using appropriate workflow toolsReporting to senior management for open trades and trading metrics is requiredRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills2 years prior experience with syndicated loan settlements or trading operationsExtensive knowledge of the trade lifecycle and/or experience supporting a trading businessExperience with LSTA standard documentation, knowledge of the LSTA Standard Terms and ConditionsStrong Computer Skills : in particular Excel, Word and PowerPointExtremely detail-orientedExcellent analytical skillsExcellent oral and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with a track record of initiativePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills4 years prior experience with syndicated loan settlements or trading operationsBachelor's Degree in Finance or related fieldPreferred familiarity with loan-based software (Loan IQ, ClearPar)Loan Trade Closing ExperienceWork scheduleThis role requires full five days in officeThis position is not eligible for H1B or SponsorshipAbout UsJPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
