Trading AnalystBusiness AnalystBoston, MAJO- Responsibilities:Help design and implement automated risk and compliance checks, to ensure transactions and holdings are in line with investment guidelines, client expectations, and regulatory requirements (including the identification of SEC and/or CFTC filing obligations)Monitor trade flow and handle issues and exceptions in-flightCollaborate with the investment team, operations, brokers, and the fund administrator to ensure flawless implementation of the entire lifecycle of each transaction, from order generation through settlementHandle trade execution problems, reconcile differences in reporting and manage settlement issuesPerform transaction cost analysis and generate reports for the members of the trading and investment teams, and participate in best execution meetingsCultivate and maintain relationships with external vendors, prime brokers, fund administrator, etcEvaluate execution strategies and make recommendations for improvements in trade implementationAssist with valuation and pricing procedures, corporate action processing (including proxies as necessary) and data integrity monitoringAssist in compiling responses to investor due diligence requests relating to trading and operationsRequirements:Candidate must be highly analytical, with an impeccable eye for detailProgramming experience (we are a Python shop, but are always open to the right tool for the right job)Experience with databases and writing of SQL queries and scriptsSolid knowledge of market data, including real-time feeds, reference data, security masters, corporate actions, etc.Ability to work independently, but also as a part of a small, but highly collegial and efficient teamKnowledge of the FIX protocol, electronic execution strategies and market microstructureExperience with equities, futures, and FX marketsAbility to handle time pressure, multitask and perform with near-zero error rateBe highly ethical and trustworthy with a team-first mindset, always acting in the best interest of our clients
